Avengers Campus at Disneyland Paris

The new Marvel Land at Walt Disney Studios Park

The Walt Disney Studios Park has its own Marvel Land. The news of the upcoming land were officially announced by Bob Iger on February 27, 2018. However, it took some time to finally open the new area, where everything revolves around the Marvel Super Heroes. On July 20, 2022, as part of the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, the time has finally come: The Avengers Campus is open!

It had already been known since the D23 Expo in Anaheim in 2019 that the new themed area at Disneyland Paris would be part of a global super hero network that would stretch from Paris to California and even on to the Disney Cruise ships. While Paris and Anaheim have each received an Avengers Campus, Walt Disney World has seen the creation of the Xandarian Avengers Outpost. Hong Kong will continue to have the Stark Expo and Shanghai will see the arrival of a base station, a residency, of the Avengers for their missions. The Disney Cruise Line ships will become mobile bases for the Avengers - with which they can reach any place in the world for their important missions. A truly global super hero network!
Bob Chapek also announced the name for the Marvel Land, as it was previously called, at this opportunitiy: Avengers Campus. Since then, Marvel fans from all over the world have been waiting to finally have the opportunity to support the Avengers in their fight to save the world.
Accordingly, every visitor to the Avengers Campus should be ready to step in, because the super heroes will be out recruiting supporters throughout the day. So if there's a super hero deep inside you, let Captain America, Thor, Iron Man & Co know!

What does the Avengers Campus have to offer?

Besides the Avengers looking for recruits, there are of course plenty of other things to discover and experience in this new themed area. If you're ready to go on a real adventure, head to Avengers Assemble: Flight Force! You'll need to be brave and not be afraight of heights, as you'll be racing through twists and loops with plenty of speed on this spectacular rollercoaster.
But there's much more! In the family-friendly Dark Ride Spider-Man: W.E.B. Adventure, your help is needed to catch the Spider Bots!

And if you're hungry after all that excitement, head to the Pym Kitchen for extraordinary-sized meals or to the Stark Factory for pizza, pasta and salads.

First impressions of the Avengers Campus

Rock'n'Roller Coaster is now Avengers Assemble: Flight Force

The roller coaster Rock'n'Roller Coaster starring Aerosmith did its last tours at the beginning of September 2019. During the D23 Expo in Japan, which took place at the beginning of February 2018, Bob Chapek announced that this roller coaster would receive a Marvel-themed design.
The great optimists, who assumed at the time that the newly designed roller coaster could open as early as the 2019 Marvel Season, were unfortunately disappointed. For it became clear relatively quickly that the Rock'n'Roller Coaster would not close until 2 September 2019 to be redesigned. Then construction, renovations and remodelling were diligently carried out so that the brand-new roller coaster experience Avengers Assemble: Flight Force could open together with the Avengers Campus on 20 July 2022.
Since then, all coaster fans and thrill seekers can once again experience high speed and loops and really get shaken up in Avengers Assemble: Flight Force.
