There is a total of twelve restaurants and a coffee house at Disney Village, the entertainment district between the two theme parks and the hotels, which offer a wide variety of food and drinks. There are also several bars where you can get snacks and small dishes.
Each restaurant at the Disney Village is designed according to a certain motto, which is reflected not only in the premises, but also in the menus of the restaurants. Overall, the American cuisine with its burgers and sandwiches dominates, but traditional Bavarian ans Alsacian cuisine is also represented. In addition there are excellent steaks and even pizza and pasta in delicious variations. Are you feeling like an all you can eat buffet for the whole family?
Or how about something very special and enjoy your meal in the company of Mickey Mouse and his friends? That is also possible here.
In addition to well-known restaurant chains, there are also Disney-typical restaurants here. You have the choice!
If you want to avoid long waiting times in front of the restaurant, you should reserve a table in your favorite restaurant in advance. However, this service is not offered by all table service restaurants at Disney Village, with some it is not possible to make a reservation at all or only on the day you would like to visit at the entrance to the restaurant. Things look bad in fast food stores in this regard, but it's usually pretty quick there anyway. But you should keep in mind that it can get very crowded in the restaurants right after the parks close, as well as during the typical meal times. At these peak times, it usually takes a while in the fast food restaurants to have something to eat.
So if you are thinking about taking your dinner in one of the restaurants in Disney Village, you should definitely use the reservation service or be patient. On Friday evening, and even more on Saturday evenings, the village is packed, so waiting times of one to two hours are quite common for guests without table reservations.
