As soon as you enter the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris, you will be standing in the Front Lot, better said first in Front Lot Square, a large square in front of the entrance to Studio 1. In the middle of the square there is a fountain that shows the most famous scene from the Disney Film Fantasia: Mickey Mouse as Sorcerer's apprentice with several magical brooms while fetching water. There are several benches all around that invite you to watch the splashing of the water or to watch the hustle and bustle around.
Here, in the entrance area of the Walt Disney Studios, you will find various shops and all important service facilities, such as a lost and found office and stroller rental, as well as the first aid station, the baby care center and the wheelchair rental. You can also find the Studio Services here, which is the central point of contact, where you can make restaurant reservations and clarify many other things.
From the park entrance, these facilities are on the right side of the square. Here you will also find the Studio Photo Shop.
On the opposite side of Front Lot Square is a larger building that houses the Walt Disney Studios Store, where you can find a wide selection of souvenirs.
A few steps further, the imposing facade of Stuido 1 rises, which is reminiscent of the golden age of Hollywood and is clearly based on the Walt Disney Studios in Los Angeles.
Behind the large gates of this studio building, which you will cross on your way into the park, Hollywood at night will await you, so let yourself drift for a while and enjoy the atmosphere.
Attractions in Front Lot
In the Front Lot, there are only a few attractions compared to other areas of the Walt Disney Studios, more precisely, there is only Studio 1. In the huge hall, directly behind the entrance area of the studios, there is a nightly boulevard from Hollywood that brings you into the exciting world of film. It's less about wild action than watching, immersing yourself in the world of films and lots of exciting discoveries.
Studio 1 - Studio 1 is the heart of the Front Lot. In principle, it is the Main Street U.S.A. of the Walt Disney Studios in Paris. They are the perfect attunement to what awaits the visitor behind the gates. It also provides the ideal backdrop for saying goodbye to the park, because on the way back you have to pass the large studio hall again.
It is actually a huge entrance hall, but as soon as you walk through one of the entrance doors to Studio 1, you are in a studio hall with spotlights, cameras and backdrops, so that you have the feeling that you are part of a filming.
