From the moment you enter Marvel Avengers Campus, you must be alert and be ready to impress. Because Black Panther, Thor and many other Avengers are patrolling the streets alongside their Avengers Deployment Vehicle, looking for their next super recruit. Will it be you?
At and all around Central Plaza, the large square directly in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, a brand new show will be performed as part of the birthday celebrations. From 6 March 2022, Minnie Mouse and her friends will welcome you to a new colourful show with groovy music. The name of the show is "Dream... and Shine Brighter".
You can get a good impression of the show including the new colourful costumes that Minnie, Daisy Duck, Donals Duck, Goofy and Pluto are wearing for this occasion in our photo gallery - and get even more impressions in our videos.
The Disney characters, 30 different characters in total, parade together with a group of dancers down Main Street towards the castle. Arriving at Central Plaza, they will climb the four small stages and enchant you with their brand new show.
To put you in a festive and optimistic mood, there is a newly composed song especially for this show called Un monde qui s'illumine / A world that lights up - you can listen to a sample here. This title is combined with the song Ready for the Ride to form a medley, to which many familiar sounds from well-known Disney films are mixed. Everyone is guaranteed to dance along!

Mickey Mouse himself has been given a new dazzling outfit to welcome you to Disneyland Paris for its 30th birthday. On our photo you can clearly see that the colour scheme is somewhat inspired by the EARidescent look, which was designed for the 50th anniversary of Walt Disney World. Mickey's new costume glitters and shimmers in bright colours, which of course looks particularly magical in sunlight or a flash of lightning. And the photos we took on site show this very well for the other characters, too.
Many of Mickey's friends are also presenting themselves in new costumes for the anniversary. Donald Duck, Goofy and their friends invite you to a fashion show at Disneyland Park, where you can get a good impression of the new outfits the Disney characters are be wearing for the anniversary.
So don't miss out on meeting the world's most famous mouse and taking a great souvenir photo of your holiday in Disneyland Paris!
You can also admire the new costumes on various other occasions. At the Dream... and Shine Brighter show, of course, but also in the morning at the opening of the Disneyland Park, when Mickey and Minnie wave to you from Main Street Station and get you in the perfect mood for the day at the park.
Around the popular show Disney Illuminations, there are two new highlights for Disneyland Paris' 30th anniversary: Disney D-Light & After Glow.
During the 30th anniversary celebrations, the Disney D-Light pre-show will begin every evening around 10 minutes before the start of Disney Illuminations. Using laser technology, video projections and water fountains, Sleeping Beauty Castle is transformed into a fairytale projection screen. The sounds of Un monde qui s'illumine, the song also featured in the show Dream and Shine Brighter, are heard and then, out of nowhere, a giant 30 appears to the right side of the castle. This figure is conjured into the night sky with the help of drones.
And, after Illuminations is over, it is advisable to remain in Disneyland Park for a moment and not head straight for the exit, because After Glow follows. Once again, atmospheric music plays, the castle is beautifully illuminated and then the drones are used again. A truly breathtaking experience.

It's not just the Disney characters that have been given new costumes, the park also has been spruced up, too!
As soon as you enter Disneyland Park, you will notice the magnificent decoration of Main Street Station. The huge 30 installed there is truly impossible to miss. Town Square and Main Street are also colourfully decorated. The newly renovated Gazebo in Town Square has been given a dazzling look that is especially impressive in the dark. And Sleeping Beauty Castle also shines in breathtaking beauty after its renovation.
In addition, there are the Gardens of Wonder. These are 10 landscaped gardens decorated with a total of 30 Disney characters. They include sculptures, mobiles and many other elements that will amaze you. Some plants even glow in the dark as do the sculptures. Be curious and let yourself be enchanted! Of course, you can get a first impression in our picture gallery and in the corresponding videos. But the Gardens of Wonder look even more impressive live on site!
Finally, the time has come! The first step of the Walt Disney Studios Park expansion will be completed. The Avengers Campus will open in summer 2022. Disneyland Paris will thus have a new themed area that is all about the Marvel superheroes.
In addition to a family-friendly Spider-Man attraction WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure, there will also be an Iron-Man roller coaster with plenty of action for everyone. There will also be the opportunity to meet one or two Marvel superheroes and, of course, food and drinks will be available as well. Among other things, you can recharge yourself in the Pym Test Kitchen. A restaurant that takes up the concept of Pym technology, which you know from the Ant-Man films.

To celebrate the anniversary, the creative minds at Disneyland Paris got together over a period of 18 months to design new souvenirs that will be available to purchase in Disneyland Paris shops and boutiques during the anniversary.
From the popular Spirit Jerseys, to bags and backpacks from trendy brands as Loungefly and Dooney & Bourke, to Minnie ears, stuffed animals and coffee mugs, everything a fan's heart desires will be available.

And if that's not enough, you can also find a video about the new merchandise on YouTube, where you can see even more souvenirs.
The birthday merchandise is mainly sold in one shop: Flora's Boutique on Main Street, U.S.A. The items will be added to the assortment gradually, so it's worth stopping by every now and then if you have your eye on a particular item.
The chefs and patissiers at Disneyland Paris have not been idle either. Over the last year, they have been working on new creations with which they can delight the guests. They have focused primarily on sweet snacks, because the patisserie craft enjoys a very special reputation in France. But there are not only petit fours, eclairs and macarons, but also some savoury specialities. Some of the different dishes and meals are available at the buffet restaurants in the Disney Parks and Disney Hotels, others are available at the counter service restaurants in the parks or at snack stands. You can also enjoy some anniversary cocktails at the resort bars.
At Victoria's, there's an Anniversary Tea Time which comes with five sweet pastries to enjoy along with tea, coffee, hot chocolate or a cold drink.
There are also ice cream sundaes specially created for Disneyland Paris' birthday. One flavour was chosen by Disney fans in a vote: Strawberry Candy flavour with violet sugar sprinkles and meringue pieces. This sweet treat is available at the Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour.
As you see, there isn't a restaurant or snack bar in Disneyland Paris that doesn't offer at least one treat from the new 30th birthday range. So you can feast all day long if you like.
The entertainment department at Disneyland Paris has not remained passive despite the Corona-related break. Behind the scenes, rehearsals and training continued, so that you can look forward to lots of highlights from the show department in the anniversary year. Some of the shows have already achieved true cult status, so it's even better that they can finally take place regularly again in 2022. In addition to the daily parade and the various shows in the two parks, one of the absolute highlights in terms of entertainment awaits you with Disney Illuminations. At the end of the day, this projection show with fireworks and matching music takes place at Sleeping Beauty Castle. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, Disney Illuminations has been given a brand new pre-show in which 200 drones will ascend into the night sky to display an impressive light show. This pre-show is called Disney D-Light and the use of the drones is, by the way, a first for all Disney Parks in the world. When it comes to shows, Disneyland Paris sets the standard once again.
