Dream... and Shine Brighter
Energetic and colourful show at Central Plaza
To celebrate Disneyland Paris' 30th anniversary, Disneyland Park guests can look forward to a new show at Central Plaza.
Several times a day, Main Street, U.S.A. and the Central Plaza will be transformed into one big show stage, where dancers and Disney characters will ensure high spirits and the best atmosphere.
Dream... and Shine Brighter is both a parade and a show, depending on where you're watching from. If you're on Town Square or Main Street, you can watch the colourful floats pass by to the sound of groovy music in the style of a parade. If you are at Central Plaza, in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, a true spectacle awaits you. This is where the floats, dancers and Disney characters make a very special stop. A remix of the anthem for the 30th anniversary of Disneyland Paris, Une Monde qui s'illumine, is paired with the song Ready for the Ride. These two songs form the musical framework and really get the audience going. Anyone who continues to stand stiffly on the spot and doesn't clap or dance along really doesn't have any rhythm in his blood. These two new songs are performed during the show Dream... and Shine Brighter together with new remixes of 20 classic Disney songs, so you're guaranteed to hear one of your favourites.
But why two songs for one show? Listen to them and you'll understand! At least, that's what the producers at Disneyland thought. They were so enthusiastic about both songs that they couldn't decide and combined them.
In the show Dream... and Shine Brighter you have the opportunity to see Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy and their friends in their new dazzling costumes, specially designed for the 30th anniversary. But it's not just Mickey and his friends who arrive at this show on colourful floats. They've brought along lots of friends you'll recognise from the Disney and Pixar films. An absolute novelty is Miguel from the film Coco, who makes his first appearance at Dream... and Shine Brighter makes his first appearance at Disneyland Paris.
The characters are accompanied by a group of male and female dancers, who are on fire and deliver a great performance.
No matter where you choose to sit in the Central Plaza, there is always something to see. The Disney characters and dancers are constantly moving back and forth between the stages, but also include the parade floats in the show, creating an all-round energetic atmosphere. A real experience!
Don't miss the birthday show and watch it at least once during your holiday in Disneyland Paris. But once you've seen it live, you're sure to return to Central Plaza again and again!
