Fantasyland at Disneyland Paris

Welcome to the world of fairy tales, stories and dreams - welcome to Fantasyland!

Fantasyland invites you to a world of fairy tales and dreams. Here, fantasies come true and the famous Disney animated features and other movies come to life.

The fairytale dream castle that marks the entrance to Fantasyland, rises directly at Central Plaza. But it is much more than just an entrance. On the upper floor, there is a gallery made of stained glass windows that retells the story of Sleeping Beauty and is absolutely worth seeing. A dragon lives in the basement, deep below the castle. So remember to take a little time to explore Sleeping Beauty Castle, because there is a lot to discover and often these details are overlooked.
Directly behind the castle you will find a beautiful courtyard, surrounded by classics such as "Snow White" and "Pinocchio", two dark rides that take you into the world of the two well-known films. If you are very strong, you may try to pull the sword Excalibur out of it´s stone, but this honor is usually reserved for King Arthur. Directly behind, is the beautiful classic carousel, which invites you to take a ride with its horses and carriages.
A little further, Dumbo, Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland are waiting for your visit. The best thing is to take a little time so you can visit them all.

In Fantasyland, not only the well-known Disney films are honored, but also their origins. Since Walt Disney took up many classic European fairy tales and stories, there are areas in Fantasyland where you can discover the roots of the famous Disney films: Germany, England, France and Italy. Not to forget "It's a Small World", the attraction that brings all countries of the world very close together and was a sensation at the 1964 World's Fair in New York.
The "Storybook Land" is a separate area in Fantasyland, in which children's hearts beat faster, because there is a small roller coaster that is very suitable even for the smallest guests, and a cozy fairytale boat ride.

Colorful flower beds are laid out around the buildings of Fantasyland, which offer a wonderful sight, especially in spring and summer.
In this idyll, meeting the Disney characters is twice as fun. Mickey Mouse and the famous Disney princesses are waiting for you at various locations in Fantasyland. So dont forget your camera and take a few photos.
