Since 26 March 2017, there is a new parade at Disneyland Park in Paris. Every day it's "Et maintenant: Disney Stars on Parade"! Originally launched to celebrate Disneyland Paris' 25th birthday, this colourful parade takes you on a daily journey through the world of Disney and Pixar films.
Disney Stars on Parade is a parade where Mickey Mouse and his friends take you on a journey of discovery. They invite you to join them in a storybook where each float represents a different story.
Each float in the new parade has its own theme and transports you into its own world. To make the effect even more magical, each parade float has its own soundtrack, picking up elements of the respective theme. You will certainly recognise one or two familiar melodies.
In front of each float, a group of Disney characters or dancers march, who also fit the respective theme. This adds extra action to Disney Stars on Parade
Are you ready? Then here's an overview of the themes of the individual floats in the new parade at Disneyland Paris:
- Magic
Mickey Mouse and his friends will kick off the parade on a float featuring explorers from the future. It is designed like a giant, futuristic-looking book. On board are Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Chip, Dale and Pluto. - Friendship
This is where the heroes from the Toy Story films come in. Colourful toys make their way, and of course the famous Pixar ball can't be missing! - Adventure
The characters from The Jungle Book and The Lion King are united on this float: Rafiki, Timon, King Louie and Mogli greet you from this colourful float. - Fantasy
Peter Pan and Captain Hook - who could represent the world of fantasy better?! Captain Hook and Smee have found their place on the giant skull, while Peter Pan flies in with his friends on his ship. - A new world
Nemo, Dory & Co invite you to their underwater world. Towering over the float you can spot Crush, who is accompanied by lots of sea creatures you know from the two films. - Witchcraft
The fire-breathing dragon takes you into the world of Maleficent and Sleeping Beauty. In front of her, Prince Philip fights a fierce battle against the thorny vines. This is followed by the impressive dragon, which appears futuristic in a steampunk style and terrifying at the same time. - Romance
The Disney princesses and their princes - it doesn't get much more romantic than that. Rapunzel and Flynn Rider start the sequence, followed by the three fairies from Sleeping Beauty, then Belle comes along in a carriage with her prince and is followed by Cinderella and her prince. - Wonder
Anna and Elsa from the film Frozen show you their castle made of ice. Of course, Olaf is also part of the group, riding in on a giant Sven.
Immerse yourself in this wonderful world of stories that will captivate you every day. You can experience Disney Stars on Parade once a day in Disneyland Park - an impressive experience for young and old. You can find out the exact time of the parade in the programme available in the Disneyland Paris app.
