You are spoiled for choice and will find the right accommodation for a romantic weekend for two or for a vacation with the whole family - guaranteed!

The Design
The Villages Nature was created under the direction of several Disney Imagineers in collaboration with Thierry Huau (landscape architect) and the three architects Jacques Ferrier, Jean de Gastines and Lionel de Segonzac. The aim was to blend nature, architecture and landscape in an inimitable and harmonious way. The first concept drawings already suggested that this goal would be implemented in an impressive manner. And in reality it has been shown that the stoked expectations could be met. The Aqualagon is a real eye-catcher, especially in the dark, the holiday homes blend harmoniously into the landscape and the lake promenade gives you a pure holiday feeling.
There are a total of five theme worlds, in a way a homage to Disneyland Park. Here it is the Aqualagon as water world, the Bellevie Farm, the impressive gardens, the lake promenade and the magical forest.

Booking your vacation at Villages Nature
Depending on how you book the Villages, you already have tickets for the Disney Parks included, which are just a stone's throw away. It is pretty easy. If you book your stay at Villages Nature as part of a Disney package, you will receive your admission tickets to the Disney theme parks for at least two days of your stay. On the days for which you have an admission ticket, you can explore the two parks as you please and you can even visit them during the Extra Magic Time. On these days you can also park your car for free at the main car park at Disneyland Paris.
Or you can book Villages Nature directly through Center Parcs. Then you get the classic stay in a Center Parc in an accommodation of your choice. The perfect solution if you don't yet know whether you want to visit Disneyland Paris or have an annual pass.

The offer ranges from the indoor water park Aqualagon, to a climbing forest and parks to fun activities where you even learn interesting things. The Future
The Villages Nature has not yet reached the end of its development. As mentioned at the beginning, an area of around 500 hectares are currently developed. The project is expected to be completed in the next 20 years by 2037. The expansion will not take place in one go, but in stages.
In the first step of the expansion, 170 new holiday homes are to be built in the east of the facility. This should increase the total number of holiday homes and apartments to 1100. In a second step, additional accommodations are to be built in the south of the site, so that 1,500 units will ultimately be available. Later, an even larger expansion in several steps is planned, so that 3000 accommodations will be available in Villages Nature by 2037. By this time at the latest, there should also be other restaurants, shops and leisure activities.

Some impressions from Villages Nature

Apartments and vaction homes at Villages Nature

If you want to stay at the Villages Nature at Disneyland Paris, you are spoiled for choice. Accommodation in the forest or at the lake are available. There are three styles you have to choose from:

  • Cocoon: comfort & well-being
  • Country: A return to nature in a country style
  • Clan: experiences & games with the whole family

In each of the three areas, there are apartments and so-called cottages. There are apartments with one or two bedrooms, a bathroom and a living and dining area. If you are traveling with several people, you can also rent cottages with 2 or 3 bedrooms. If you have chosen a room on the ground floor, you can also use the associated terrace, otherwise a balcony is available.

In addition to the design style given by Cocoon, Country and Clan, there are other distinguishing features. For example, you can choose the Comfort class and get a holiday home or apartment with comfortable beds, a chic bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, and a terrace or balcony.
If you choose Premium, you will find accommodation with a modern design that is centrally located and has a large terrace or balcony. If the choice falls on the VIP class, then you can look forward to top-equipped accommodation including a spa bathroom. Of course, you also have a terrace or balcony here.

The size of the accommodations varies. There are apartments that can accommodate 2 people and holiday homes that can accommodate up to 12 people. Whether you are only traveling with your partner, the family or the bowling club - at Villages Nature you will find a accommodation of the right size.

Highlight: water park Aqualagon

The Aqualagon is the water park of Villages Nature. It is a fun and wellness water park for all age groups.
There are seven water slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, whirlpools, outdoor pools and much more. Every mermaid feels at home here! No matter whether the weather is good or bad, this indoor water park offers a lot of variety in all weather conditions.

Entry to the Aqualagon is included if you have booked a room or holiday home at Villages Nature. So during your stay you can swim, splash around and have fun.
If you do not spend the night in Villages Nature, you have the opportunity to visit the Aqualagon as a day guest. The price for the visit depends on the season and depends on whether you book a day ticket or a half-day ticket.

The Deep Nature Spa is connected to the Aqualagon. There is a sauna, hammam, salt cabin and various massages and care offers. So everything to relax perfectly.

A special activity for everyone who is not dressed up in a bikini or swimming shorts: you can climb the roof of the Aqualagon. From the so-called Belvédère you have a view of the entire Villages Nature complex. But that's not all, because you can even see Disneyland Paris.

Promenade du Lac & Welcome House: the central facilities of Villages Nature

The lakeside promenade is the area of Villages Nature where most of the major facilities are located. From the welcome house to shops and restaurants to entertainment facilities such as the bowling alley and the escape room, and the kids club as well as a laundrette.

The best way to start your stroll along the lake promenade is at the village square with the beautiful fountain, the chess field and the boules pitch. Here you will also find the Welcome House, the central point of contact for all questions and problems. You can also book activities, rent mini golf equipment, and so on.
From there, stroll further along the lake and take a look at the shop windows of the shops and boutiques every now and then. If you feel like a break, treat yourself to a coffee or a soda in one of the local shops and enjoy the view of the Aqualagon, the lake and nature.

The Promenade du Lac not only invites you to a stroll during the day, but also in the evening, in the dark it is worth spending a little time here. Because after dusk the lake shore is illuminated by countless small lights - a wonderful sight.

Restaurants & Bars at the Promenade Du Lac

There are also several restaurants at the Promenade du Lac where you can indulge in culinary delights.

Cépages
Cépages is a wine bar and restaurant under one roof. Traditional French dishes are served that are designed to be shared. There are also a few international classics for guests who are not so fond of French cuisine. Of course there is a wide selection of wines. If you don't find the right one right away, the staff will be happy to help you. Once you tastes the wine, you can also buy most of the fine wines directly in the restaurant and take one or two bottles home with you.

Pure etc
At Pur etc. you will find small dishes and snacks that are prepared with regional and seasonal ingredients. Salads, sandwiches, soups and a few warm dishes are on the menu, some dishes are also vegan.
Pur etc. is a small chain that comes from Strasbourg.

Vapiano
Everyone knows the fast food chain from all over the world. There is pizza, pasta, salads and a few other Italian dishes. However, there is a significant difference to other Vapiano branches. Because at Villages Nature you order your food directly at the cash register entrance and pay for it. Then you take a seat and as soon as the food is ready, it will be brought to your table. This system has the great advantage that you can eat together when you are in a group. Otherwise, this is usually not guaranteed at Vapiano.
If you don't want to leave your holiday home, you can also order something to eat here, which will then be brought to you.

Further refreshment stops on the waterfront
Chez Meunier is actually the bakery at Villages Nature. Here you can not only buy baguettes and eclaires and take them to your apartment, but also enjoy a coffee or some pastries on site.

Le Strike: Here you can not only bowl, but also enjoy a few snacks and drinks.

More restaurants at the Villages Nature
At the farm there is the Les Délices de la Ferme restaurant. Here you can enjoy a small lunch or treat yourself with sweet snacks and cakes in the afternoon.
By the swimming pool there is the Lagon Café, where you can get something during your swimming fun.

In the near future, the expansion plan has a gourmet burger shop on its list, which is to be managed by the operator of Cépages.

The farm: Ferme Bellevie

Ferme BelleVie is an experience farm with offers for the whole family. For children from the city in particular, it is of course super interesting to see cows, pigs, goats, donkeys and other farm animals up close and to be able to help with feeding or cleaning. With a bit of luck, some of the animals have just had their offspring and there are calves, baby lambs and tiny piglets to admire - children can often spend a few hours here and just watch the animals.
All of these things are possible at the BelleVie farm. There is also a petting zoo and pony rides as well as various offers such as a honey workshop or baking bread.

A farm does not only include animals, of course, but also agriculture. At Ferme BelleVie there is a greenhouse and various plots in which vegetables, herbs etc. are grown. The products that are produced here are also served in the Villages Nature restaurants.

There is also a large indoor playground in the barn of the farm. Younger guests up to the age of 11 can reduce some of their energy here: slides, trampolines, pedal tractors and wobbly cows are just a few of the things that are available here.
While the kids are having fun, parents can relax with a coffee and a piece of cake at the Les Délices de la Ferme farm café or pay a visit to the Epicerie shop and buy great regional products.

Foret des Legends & Minigolf: Not only for the little ones

The magic forest is a playground in the heart of the forest of Villages Nature. There are rope bridges, tree houses, enchanted caves and secret paths waiting to be explored. Children become true adventurers and discoverers of the forests here. The huge playground was designed in collaboration with some experts from De Efteling, the largest amusement park in the Netherlands. If you are traveling with children, then take enough time for this playground, because there is really a lot to do, to try and to discover.

The Villages Nature mini golf course is located directly opposite of the Fôret des Legends. If you are thinking of a classic concrete runway that you may know from your local city park or from the campsites, you are wrong. Because the mini golf course of Villages Nature has been designed with lots of wood. The courses are designed differently from the classic courses and come up with some unexpected obstacles. This is fun for young and old golfers.

Jardins Extraordinaire

parks at Villages Nature

The gardens of Villages Nature are really impressive and are rightly named Jardins Extraordinaire. It is a large park that extends over large parts parallel to the lake promenade. There are four merging gardens, each with a theme. The topics are the elements wind, water, fire and earth.
Go for a walk here and enjoy nature or go on a journey of discovery, because there is really a lot to see!

The Jardins Extraordinaire were designed by Thierry Huau, who designed the Terra Botanica theme park in Angers, among others.
The concept of Villages Nature is pretty clear in the gardens: it's about the wonders of nature, sustainability and our interaction with the world in which we live.
Trunks of trees that had to be felled for the construction of the resort are used here to serve as path boundaries or seating. There are insect hotels and pile of branches that provide shelter for hedgehogs, lizards and other animals.

  • In the area of water it sparkles everywhere, even the geysers rise up. The vegetation is characterized by reeds and water grasses.
  • In the air area, grasses and pastures swing in the wind.
  • It literally blazes in the garden of fire, especially in autumn, when the maple and ash leaves turn yellow and red.
  • In the garden of earth there are fruit trees and there is a kitchen garden to discover.

All this is loosened up by a winding path, oversized game boards on the floor, works of art on the side of the path and many other things, which cannot all be mentioned here. There are also concerts, lectures and readings taking place in the gardens all year round.

Disney Nature Resort AND Center Parc? What's Pierre & Vacances?

As already mentioned, the "Villages Nature" project was developed and implemented by Disney and Pierre & Vacances Center Parcs.
Center Parcs has been part of Pierre & Vacances, a group of companies that operates holiday homes, apartments and holiday resorts in various European countries since 2003. There are, for example, Center Parcs in Spain, the Netherlands and also in Germany, and Pierre & Vacances also operates various holiday homes in the Alps and the Mediterranean.
Anthony Martin Robinson is President of Center Parcs UK and a member of the supervisory board of Euro Disney SCA, the Disneyland Paris operating company. This creates a close connection between the two companies, which has a positive effect on the collaboration of the "Villages Nature" project.

Villages Nature was originally intended to be positioned as a separate brand, despite the two well-known brands Disney & Center Parcs that are actually behind it. Then those responsible recognized that it would make sense to use the power of the two companies to market them together. That is why Villages Nature has been marketed as Disney Nature Resort and Center Parc since early 2018.

The theme of Disney Nature will be more widely represented in the future by including Disney Nature films in the design. This should first of all be put into practice at the Kids Club, which is currently being expanded.
