Disney Sequioa Lodge is located directly at Lake Disney and surrounded by a forest. The hotel is reminiscent of the hotels at the North American National Parks. It is named after the giant sequoia trees. These not only give the Sequoia Lodge its name, but can also be found on the entire hotel grounds, because in addition to pine and cedar trees, there are also 500 sequoias that were specially imported from the USA and Canada. A hunter or ranger, who was just out in the woods in Montana, would also feel like home in this hotel.
Hotel facilities
The hotel Disney Sequoia Lodge was given a subtle Bambi theme during the last renovation. Bambi, Thumper and their friends now decorate duvets and other elements of the hotel rooms. There are a total of 1,011 rooms and 9 suites which are spread over the six-story main building and a few smaller outbuildings. The rooms at the Sequoia Lodge are equipped with two double beds, so that four people can be accommodated, or one King Size bed for a romantic couple's getaway. A total of 22 rooms of this hotel are wheelchair accessible, should you be interested in such a room, please state this when booking.
Golden Forest Club: Sequoia Lodge's Club Level
There is also the Golden Forest Club, which includes 14 suites and 110 standard rooms. Guests of the Golden Forest Club can check in and out at a separate reception. The Golden Forest Lounge is also included in this, where the breakfast buffet is set up and snacks and soft drinks are available throughout the day.
